Licensed Massage Therapists: Full or Part-Time

Our health and wellness center needs full and part-time, professional Massage Therapists to assist us with our busy practice. We provide massage therapy for a diverse range of clients including men, women, athletes, professionals, college students or seniors who may have cancer, chronic conditions, pain, injury, are post-surgery, pregnant or just have stress from daily life. We specialize in relieving pain and tension and promote a healthy living style. Therapists work independently and those who have high client retention do especially well. We offer flexible schedules and no required weekend hours. If this sounds like an environment where you would excel, we would love to talk with you about this opportunity.

Responsibilities

·        Provide 30, 60 or 90-minute massage therapy sessions for clients

·       Establish rapport and guide clients through our service offerings and help them choose the types of massages that would benefit them most

·       Take detailed health histories from clients

·      Meet retention rate goals for return clients

·       Design sessions around clients specific complaints or problem areas

·       Listen to clients during massages and adjust technique to meet their needs

·       Develop treatment plans for recurring sessions

·       Clean massage beds and change sheets in between clients, including assisting with laundry

·      Assist with marketing and promotion of the studio

Skills Needed

·       Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to connect with clients

·      Current and valid Ohio state medical board license for massage therapy

·       Excellent customer service and sales skills

·       Experience working in therapy center or spa environment a plus

Salary

Salary is commission-based (for services and retail) and commensurate with experience. This is an excellent opportunity for top-notch massage therapists to make more than the hourly rates offered by other massage businesses. Average compensation $35-50 per hour.
